About Pika Pikaframes v2.2

Pika Pikaframes v2.2 turns a set of still images into one video. You add 2 to 5 keyframe images. These are the key moments of your video. The model creates the motion that carries it from each image to the next. You get back a single video with transitions between your keyframes.

The images are the only required input. You can also write a Prompt that applies to every transition, and use the Transitions option to set each one. A transition sits between two neighbouring images, so you set one fewer than the number of images. A transition can carry its own prompt, which replaces the main Prompt for that step. All transitions together can run up to 25 seconds. If you skip Transitions, each one lasts 5 seconds and follows the main Prompt. Resolution is 720p or 1080p, and it starts on 720p.

Pika Pikaframes v2.2 costs 2000 credits. Pika Scenes (v2.2) costs the same. It requires a prompt and has Aspect Ratio and Duration options, while Pika Pikaframes v2.2 has an optional Prompt and Transitions.

What it does well

Up to 5 keyframe images

Add 2 to 5 images. The video makes a transition between each neighbouring pair.

Control over each transition

Use the Transitions option to shape every step between two images. All transitions together can run up to 25 seconds.

A prompt for each step

The main Prompt covers every transition. A prompt on a single transition replaces it for that step.

How to use Pika Pikaframes v2.2

How It Works
01

Add your images

Upload 2 to 5 keyframe images. Each pair of neighbouring images gets one transition.

02

Set the prompt and transitions

Write a main Prompt if you want one. Use Transitions to set the length and prompt of each step, up to 25 seconds in total. Pick 720p or 1080p.

03

Generate your video

Start the run. It costs 2000 credits, and you get back one video.

Tip With 4 images you set 3 transitions, one for each neighbouring pair. Without Transitions, each step lasts 5 seconds.

Good for

Photo sequences

Put 2 to 5 photos in the order you want and let the video move from one to the next.

Storyboard frames to video

Use up to 5 storyboard frames as keyframes.
