About Triposplat

Triposplat turns a single picture into a 3D Gaussian splat, a kind of 3D file saved as .ply or .splat. You add one reference image and get the splat file back.

Two options change the result. Guidance scale runs from 0 to 10 and starts at 3. Values at or below 1 switch guidance off. Higher values add detail and keep the result closer to your picture, but too high can oversaturate the colors. The steps option runs from 1 to 50 and starts at 20. More steps improve the result, and the run takes roughly twice as long when you double them.

Triposplat costs 500 credits. Tripo P1 costs 100 credits and TripoSR costs 700 credits. Triposplat has the guidance and steps options, while Tripo P1 has a Texture option instead.

What it does well

One image in

You provide one reference image.

Gaussian splat file out

The result is a 3D Gaussian splat file in .ply or .splat format.

Guidance scale, 0 to 10

Higher values add detail and keep the result closer to your image. Values at or below 1 turn guidance off.

Steps, 1 to 50

More steps improve the result, and the run takes roughly twice as long when you double them.

How to use Triposplat

How It Works
01

Add your image

Upload the reference image you want converted into a 3D Gaussian splat.

02

Set guidance and steps

Guidance scale starts at 3 and the steps option starts at 20. Both are optional.

03

Generate

Run it for 500 credits and open the splat file you get back.

Tip Very high guidance values can oversaturate the colors.

Good for

A 3D version of a single picture

Turn one picture into a 3D Gaussian splat file.

A result close to your picture

Raise the guidance scale to add detail and keep the 3D result closer to your image.

Questions
